This cuff hooks behind the ear, connecting the two pieces of the Javelin around the inner lobe and thus "spearing" your ear with an elongated 18k cone. The piece is surprising and edgy, a tongue-in-cheek love letter to sleek minimalism and  hard-edged punk.  Marco Rigovacca was a member of the Italian Padua School, a group of Italian goldsmiths and jewelers who, in the mid 20th century, fused timeless craft with creative simplicity to create sculptural artist jewelry. Though most schools at the time had abandoned precious materials in favor of a more egalitarian approach, the Padua School saw gold as an essential quality of jewelry and demanded their students master the material to make durable their innovative, geometric designs. 4.75" long. Signed Rigovacca.
